First Aid Training
Wideawake Training no longer offers open First Aid courses to the general public but remains a Qualsafe Awards Centre for Level 2 and 3 (RQF) Awards. These Awards have replaced the former Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Approved First Aid courses which were discontinued in parallel with HSE direct involvement in First Aid Training in September 2013. First Aid courses are now only offered by us as part of a package of training we provide to GP surgeries and consortia.
- Annual Refresher Training (CPD)
- Bespoke First Aid Training
- CPR and Automated External Defibrillation
- Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 Award (1 day)
- First Aid at Work Level 3 Award (FAW) (3 days)
- First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 Award (2 days)
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (2 days)

I just wanted to pass on this email from my HCA and the nursing team!! Angie also said it was fun!!!
I shall certainly be booking you for next year!!
I just wanted to say that I thought the CPR training last week was excellent and as we didn’t have a feedback form to do afterwards perhaps you could pass on some positive feedback. I have been to quite a few CPR trainings as I’m sure most of the people here have but I’ve never been given the information about the pregnant women. I mentioned it to both Kirsty and Paula and they also agreed they don’t remember anyone ever mentioning it.
Enjoyed the training..hope to see you next year

Both Rob and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt an awful lot.
Nick is clearly very knowledgeable and made the subject both interesting and fun.
We were really impressed with all aspects especially the instructor, delivery and content of the session.
Please pass on my thanks to Nick.
